- Barrel Oak - DF with dogs being the focus
- Aspen Dale - DF and love! Tasting comes with cheese tasting tray too

- Cobbler Mountain Cellars- wine and cider tastings. Dogs allowed inside
- Blue Valley Vineyard- huge indoor tasting room, nice outdoor space, good wines. Dogs allowed outside
- Breaux Winery- Small tasting room where dogs are allowed. Huge winery (think Napa big). Good wines, great outdoor atmosphere
- Hillsborough- Sit down for tasting, Cute outdoor area, dogs allowed outside, great bruschetta
- Hunter's Run Wine Barn- they turned barn into tasting room, Good wines, dogs allowed outside

- Ducard Vineyard- near White Oak Canyon hike

- Sterling Vineyard (Napa area) - nice views, just ok wine
- Rutherford Hill (Napa area)- loved!
- Tudol Winery (Napa area)- small but really enjoyed, great Rose
- David Fulton Winery (Napa area) - I wouldn't go back
- Chimney Rock (Napa area)
- Stag's Leap (Napa area) - great and expensive reds
- Revolver Winery (Napa area)- not a big fan but close to food
- Korbel Winery (Sonoma area)- they have wine too
- Thomas George winery (Sonoma area) - loved with nice wine cave
- Porter Creek (Sonoma area) - cute small winery
- Sugarloaf Mountain Winery- DF outside. Nice winery and perfect after hike
- Green Hill Winery - good wines, great place to hang out but $14 tastings
- Boxwood winery - all red wines, super modern look, not friendly
- 50 West - cute winery, wines from sunset hills currently
- Stone Tower- expensive tasting at $15 for 6 wines but cute place and dog friendly inside
- 8 Chains- cute winery that is dog friendly inside and actually has dog park
- Crushed Cellars- small winery but good wines and service. Dogs allowed inside
- Arterra- really enjoyed their wines. Cute winery. Dogs not allowed
- Magnolia- Enjoyed the wines. They allowed Callie into the tasting room and had a nice outdoor area.
- Grace Estates- in Charlottesville, DF winery with amazing views. Wines were also good
- Sunset Hills- beautiful winery with good wines
- Vint Hill- Nice tasting room in a cute town. Brewery located right next door.
